A New York City based global professional services firm, is currently seeking Business Group Head to lead the growth of the Business Group in the United States by managing a team to achieve specific sales, client acquisition and revenue goals.

 Position Summary:

The Business Group Head will develop and execute an annual business plan and participate in the development of longer term strategic objectives, working with partners across the network to ensure that the Business Group optimizes its full potential to support its growth plans. The Business Group Head will champion portfolio enhancement and product improvement activities on ideas and concepts that both leverage this companies competitive assets, and navigate promotional regulations, in order to increase the uniqueness, appeal and utility of the products and services offered by the Business Group in the eyes of its clients.

Functions that report directly into the Business Group Head include, but are not be limited to the Business Unit Heads and Chief Medical Officer. The Business Group Head will also have indirect reporting responsibility for the Product Management, Account Management and Operational Functions.

In addition, the Business Group Head will be expected to demonstrate sales leadership through maintaining a network of contacts and clients.


  • Achieve financial goals in line with budget requirements, including year on year top line and profit growth
  • Direct the activities of the Business Group on a day-to-day basis, in keeping with approved budgets, to implement and achieve all strategies and objectives contained in the annual budget and Strategic Development Plan (SDP).
  • Adhere to all pricing, packaging and product positioning guidelines set forth in the SDP and approved by the Board. 
  • Champion Relentless Improvement initiatives to reduce fixed and variable costs.
  • Continuously monitor success metrics defined in the SDP and advise the CEO of success metric objectives the Business Group is unlikely to meet as soon as this becomes apparent.
  • Report monthly to the CEO on the performance of the Business Group against plan, or as requested.
